Practice Courts prior to the Tournament Start Date of July 29

MSC1 – MSC12
The vast majority of our courts at McArthur Squash Center will be available for practice on July 26, 27 & 28 from 8.00am to 8.00pm each day. We will not be taking advanced booking for these, but they will be available on a first come first served basis on arrival at the club each day.

MSCG1 & MSCG2
The two show courts cannot be reserved in advance of your arrival in Charlottesville. However once here you may reserve a practice time on the paper sign-up sheet outside the court. To keep the process fair, please do not reserve the court on behalf of those that have not arrived. Practice times are between 25 and 40 minutes (depending on the day) and players should go at least two to the court. Please only reserve one practice time per day and only reserve a show court for practice if your likely path through the draw has you playing on one.  If a player fails to turn up within 5 minutes of the reserved start time  then it can be taken by a player that is ready to practice at the venue. The show courts can be reserved one day ahead but no further. If you have reserved a show court for the next day but then find you no longer require it then please remember to cancel your booking to make it available for someone else.

Practice Courts on July 29 & July 30  at the St. Anne’s facility

Once the men’s tournament gets underway on July 29, practice courts at McArthur Squash center will only be available before play starts each day, and after it ends. Practice courts will be available at St. Anne’s on July 29 and July 30, with the facility opening at 11.00am and closing at 4.30pm.  Practice courts at St. Anne’s will be available on a first come first served basis. The courts at St. Anne’s are also ASB and are very similar to those at McArthur Squash Center.
