Our story
Adopting an active and healthy lifestyle is a priority in the life of Caliloko Founder, Nathalie de Champlain. As a mother of two boys, always very busy and on the go, being fit guides the choices she makes for her family.
Over the years, Nathalie has vigorously trained as a competitive amateur squash player, and adopted an intense fitness regimen. She also actively supported her husband, Fil Maes, during his Ironman and triathlon training and races. Given their passion for athletics, Nathalie and her husband tried to find high quality, trendy compression brands that would meet their athletic needs to reduce muscle soreness and help recover faster. However, despite searching far and wide, she could not find such a product. Nathalie then realized that there was a pivotal need for a unique compression sportswear brand, and soon Caliloko was born.
Taking her true passion for stylish performance designs at heart, she set the bold ambition to realizing her lifelong dream to create her own line — translating fashion trends into technical fabrics and designs. Caliloko’s online store launched on May 1, 2018 and currently offers Active and Recovery Compression Long Tights, Calf Sleeves, Racer Back Bras and Sweatbands for Men and Women. Caliloko has many exciting new products in development.
