A: The hotels all have laundry service for an additional fee.  There are also several self-serve Laundromats around Charlottesville if you rather do your own laundry. Hydraulic Wash (434-977-7837) across the street from The Shops at Stonefield is an easy walk from several official Tournament hotels. 12. When will the tournament schedule be finalized?

A: Closing date for entry is June 15th. We anticipate being able to publish draws and start times by Monday June 25th.

13. Are there “b” divisions in the tournament?

A: No, it is a World Championships, so everyone will start in the same draw. That being said, this should not put off anyone from participating! Divisions will have consolation rounds, plates, and play-off matches, so everyone should end up with some squash at the appropriate level. Typically, less than 20% of competitors enter the event believing they will make the later rounds of the main draw – the majority enter knowing they will get their best competition in the various back draws.

14. Are the functions open to non-players and are they kid friendly?

A: All functions are open to anyone – you do not have to be a participant or even a guest of a participant. The Welcome Reception and Closing Ceremony not so much, however the Opening Ceremony and BBQ cook-out are. Tickets for those under 18, accompanied by an adult are $25 instead of $48.
