Stringing at Charlottesville Tennis Pro Shop
Please note that we will not be providing a restringing service at any of the venues. Instead the Charlottesville Tennis Pro Shop located at 2171 Ivy Road will be providing the racquet restringing services for the event. Stringer Lew Stephens will turn all racquets around within 24 hours and he can be reached at the shop on 434-202-1896. You can also reach Lew via email at lewsquasher@gmail.com.
The Charlottesville Tennis Pro shop is just a 2 minute walk from the St. Anne’s Belfield venue, so if you do not have your own transportation then we recommend catching the shuttle bus to St. Anne’s in order to drop your racquet off with Lew. It’s easy to find located just next door to Dominoes Pizza.
Thanks to a sponsorship with Harrow house string is free of charge to all participants, so you just pay for the labor charge of $20. If you want to choose any one of the many other strings offered at the shop, including technifibre then these are charged from anywhere between $35 to $45 (includes the string & labor).
